Best Way to Prevent Baldness

I’m guessing that as you are here on this site that you are worried about impending baldness.  Maybe you have already started losing your hair and are starting to panic.

Baldness can have a severely detrimental effect on a persons morale and self image.  For thousands of years a persons hair has been a symbol of youth and beauty.  When you get to a certain age and your hair gets thinner it can seem as though your youth is slipping away.

We have all heard it said that baldness is a sign of virilaty in men and that a lot of women find a bald head quite attractive.  But no matter how many times you hear it you just don’t quite believe it.  Some people choose to shave their head which is great if you are trying to make a fashion statement but losing your hair involuntarily is a different scenario.

So how do you deal with it?  It really does depend on your own personal circumstance and the money you have available.

The ideal situation when preventing baldness is to bolt the barn door before the horse bolts.  In other words, start implementing into your diet natural products that will hopefully hold the hair loss at bay.

If your hair has already started to thin then don’t worry, its still not too late. There are products on the market that if applied each day can go some way to restoring lost hair by removing the DHT that suffocates the hair folicle. The problem is that the product has to be applied each day which makes it an expensive choice.  If you successfully use a product to restore some of your hair, you mustn’t stop using it or the hair will be lost again.  It is fair to say that not all hair restoration treatments are not created equal.

The final option is the best by far but also the most expensive.  The most expensive option at a cost of approximately $10 per hair folicle is the full on hair transplant which takes your own hair from somewhere else on your head and moves it to the balding area. The results are fantastic but many procedures are needed.  The unfortunate part of this treatment is the cost.

Only you can decide the best option for you depending on your finances and the hair currently on your head.  Just remember, it is easier and much cheaper to prevent baldness than it is to replace lost hair.
