I am a young, cute African-American princess with alopecia.?
My first bald patch arrived at the tender age of 11, my father died. While Make my teen years came and went bald. Nothing really dramatic. At the age of 20 my first born was known to himself. I was half bald. I went to a hair transplant HCM (Matrix) number. Where they had to shave the rest give me a wig glued on. I was disappointed and I did not go after 3-6 mos. My hair started to grow again soon after. Now I'm 25 and my second was born just arrived. Now I am completely bald as her bottom. I do not really want to go back to the matrix. Are there any medicines Shampoos out there something I can use? I'm in the dark about all this? I feel like it's this magic pill that will take Alopecia anyone to back her hair bald and I am firmly in the dark. Let me know. PS I'm new single. Did I mention how much of a damper, this to a young women's self-esteem to do?
Alopecia may be autoimmune diseases in nature … Do you have vitiligo, pernicious anemia or other autoimmune disease? I have a Book called Women and autoimmune disease in which Robert Lahita, MD. There is a small section in there alopecia. It appears that stress plays an important role in your hair loss that makes I think it is autoimmune in nature. If a reputable rheumatologist in your area you could start there … In the meantime, have a nice wig! the Plus side of wigs that you change your style as often as you like!
