Baldness Cures On The Internet. Should You Buy Them?
There is a huge number of men in America searching for baldness cures. Somewhere around half of all men will suffer from thinning hair and so there must be hundreds of millions of men who would buy a cure for baldness if there was one that was demonstrated to work. With numbers this big there are dozens of baldness cures on the Internet. But do these curesfor baldness work?
Baldness cures of any type are not cheap. For this reason the market for hair loss treatments is worth hundreds of millions of dollars and where there is a market that size there will be many many products available. However that does not mean that they all work or even that they are all safe for anyone to use.
The Internet is unregulated. Anyone can design a website and sell a hair loss treatment without any requirement that it be demonstrated to work or that it be demonstrated to be safe to use. On the internet it’s a serious case of buyer beware.
Baldness cures on the Internet can often be a scam and is unlikely that many of them will regrow your hair and even worse they may damage your health and your wallet. So maybe you should just forget about finding a good hair loss treatment.
No you need not forget about it at all. We have an organization in the US called the FDA whose task it is to examine products like these and, if it is satisfied that it is appropriate, to approve them for use. The FDA has approved 2 products as men’s baldness cures for cases of thinning hair in men including cases of male pattern baldness which causes over 90 percent of cases of male balding.
It is fair to assume that where the FDA has approved a product as a men’s hair loss treatment that there is sufficient evidence, in the form of proper scientific studies, that these products work to reverse hair loss. However it is also true that these products will not work as a cure for baldness for every man suffering from male pattern balding. It is too much to expect any product to work for everybody.
The FDA has approved minoxidil and finasteride as men’s hair loss treatments. Finasteride is marketed as Propecia and is not approved for use in cases of women’s hair loss because it has been demonstrated to cause some serious side-effects for women. It can also have some side-effects for men including loss of libido.
Minoxidil is approved for use as a hair loss treatment by both men and women. It is thought that it improves hair growth by improving the blood flow to the hair follicle thereby increasing the flow of nutrients to the follicle. In cases of male pattern baldness a hormone restricts the ability of hair follicles to absorb nutrients and so increasing the flow of nutrients would improve hair growth it would seem.
And whilst it is clear that minoxidil on its own works as a hair loss treatment one company has seen an opportunity to improve the results and has combined minoxidil with essential hair nutrients to maximize the chances that their hair follicles will absorb enough nutrients to start to regrow hair.
This approach seems more effective than selling minoxidil for use on its own.
But you must be aware that despite the fact that there are dozens of baldness cures on the Internet, there are only 2 cures for baldness in men that are approved by the FDA and only one, minoxidil, is approved as a male pattern baldness cure as well as a cure for baldness in women.
Visit my website to find out more about a balding treatment that combines minoxidil with a range of essential hair nutrients to increase the likelihood of hair regrowth.

Taking A Look At Prevention For Hair Loss
Hairloss is a problem that affects many people and most dread combing their hair. Most dread combing their hair because when they do, the comb is full of fallen strands. To stop the unpleasant prospect of further loss, they search out effective hair loss treatment programs. There are many authentic treatments available for hair loss, yet one treatment method may work for some while it may not work for others. There is no harm in trying the various herbal and home remedies.
There is no cure for baldness, yet understanding what causes the condition is important. Excess stress, lack of hair care, a dirty scalp, and the lack of nutritious foods can precipitate hair loss. As well, consuming excess amounts of caffeine, sugar, fats and carbonated drinks can cause hair loss. On the contrary, various forms of exercises that require the body to be bent forwards or backwards will also result in increased blood flow to the scalp, which will promote healthy hair and a healthy scalp. Consuming foods rich with essential nutrients will also promote healthy hair growth.
Why spend a lot of money for hair loss products when you can address the problem easily at home. The safest treatment to stop hair loss is perhaps the application of fenugreek paste. Soak fenugreek seeds in a vessel or pot. Let the seeds soak overnight. In the morning, take the water and apply it to the scalp. Wrap a cloth around the scalp for three hours and then shampoo it out. Continue this procedure daily for one month. The results will be visible. Fenugreek can cause colds in some people, so those who are easily susceptible should try other methods.
Another of the hair loss treatments involves smearing castor oil on the scalp and the hair roots; however, avoid applying castor oil to the hair, as the oil is very sticky and will cause it to get tangled into sticky knots. Do this before bedtime and wrap a cloth around your head to stop the oil from seeping into your hair and bedding. Wash your hair in the morning. This is good remedial measure for hair loss and should be performed once every week. The results should be visible within seven to ten weeks.
