long hair treatment

Main ingrown hair symptoms include constant tenderness in the affected area, itching, tingling, or mild to severe pain.
In chronic cases, hard, prominent, irregular scar tissue may develop.
Trapped, ingrown hairs can cause the body to form a bump, or papule – a small, raised abnormality on the sin.
Pustules, blisters containing pus, can develop and then become infected, rupture and bleed.
Consultation with a physician may be necessary in extreme cases.
Advice Note #1
Do not pick at the area if the hair is under the skin and has caused a pimple.
Disinfect the area with alcohol or toner. Then use a clean cloth which has cooled a little after being dipped in boiling water.
Repeat the process several times until the hair is brought to the surface of the skin. Then try to tweeze it out.
Advice Note #2
In chronic cases where the area around the ingrown hair has become infected and is swelling or filled with pus, it may be wiser to make an appointment to see an aesthetician. (Check your local yellow pages)
Advice Note #3
Do not squeeze infected ingrown hairs. This can make the infection worse.
Apply an anti-bacterial balm three times a day until the redness has gone down.
Use of an AHA (alpha-hydroxy acid) serum after this will dissolve skin cells that may have built-up in the infected area.
Additional information: Ingrown hairs are known as Psuedofolliculitis Barbae (PFB), razor bumps, razor burn, hair bumps, shaving bumps, ingrowns.
Psuedofolliculitis Barbae refers to hair which has been cut or broken off below the skin level which then begins to grow through surrounding tissue rather than out of the follicle.
In other cases, hair curls round and starts growing back into the skin causing irritation and inflammation.
Some of the more common areas for Psuedofolliculitis Barbae are on the bikini area, legs, and even the chin or upper lip.
A bump will develop where the Psuedofolliculitis Barbae continues to circle beneath the skin.
Sometimes these bumps become infected and develop a sack of pus, similar to a pimple without a whitehead.

moisture hair treatment

How can I moisture my hair for a few bucks ?
I am black and have real fine thin hair. I live in dry heated conditions. I curl my hair before I go out and before my day is halfway done. My curls have fallen and my hair starts to frizz. I have tried hot oil treatments, conditioner even grease that say they tame frizz. How can I keep moisture in my hair?
it is not due to your hair lacking moisture. in fact it is your hair type. Please dont take offence to this, but your type of hair can be one of the toughest types to style, deal with etc..
What you need to get is a good de-frizz product, and some good styling products. dont buy cheap because they never work good, i know you only want to spend a few bucks, but you get what you pay for.
When you first style your hair, if it is wet use mousse or another type of product that is for wet hair, style/dry it, then use another holding product and hairspray, this will help keep it styled for a bit longer, i cant gaurentee that it will hold all day, but it’ll be getting close to it.
If your hair is really dry, and kinda feels rough or like sandpaper when you run your fingers down it, try a deep conditioning treatment. you can get them done at any salon or go to a salon and see if they have samples of it that you can use..then it would be FREE ![]()
also another option is to actually perm your hair, but i would recommend going to a salon for this as they wil have the best one for your hair type.
Hope this helps ….i am a hairdresser so i do know what im talking about

Fashionable Hair Cuts: For Men
A hair cut really defines a great segment of your image. I remember my little brother always strived to have the coolest hair cut around. He would cut and trim down his hair by himself for hours in the bathroom and every time he came out of it, he had a extreme looking hair do and somehow every one liked them. These are all the styles I can remember him of having:
• A 6 inch Mohawk
• A Completely shaved head
• Spiky wild hair
• Long hair
• A little Mohawk
• 50/50 hair do
• The Krusty trend
• And much much more!
There are countless of hip hair cuts, and if you can identify I even had to make up names for the looks my brother had. I called the 50/50 hair do a fashion that had half of the head trimmed truly tiny, and the other half trimmed down not so small. But the trimming had to be done in such a method that the middle had to be longer than the rest, really complicated do if you ask me. My brother said he would like to copy German soccer team player, Bastian Schweinsteiger, but he’s never actually got to copy it as excellent.
But the coolness of a hair style really depends on the appearance you want to express. For case, a totally shaved head doesn’t suit most people, or else at least it definitely didn’t work for my brother. I’d say that the classical hip hair cuts for men are spiky hair, long hair and petite Mohawks.
But there are hip styles for unusual kind of men. For youth the above mentioned is rightly good, but for guys a little bit older there are different styles. A male that always seems to have a trendy hair do is David Beckham, so I would suggest you to keep an eye out for him because he always seems to have that excellent looking hair we women love so much! A different famous personality that has always had a great hair cut, one of my favorites, is James Bond. No matter which actor represents him, James Bond will always have a huge looking hair trend.
But no matter who, or which look you choose to have, a hip hair cut look be able to simply look hip if it’s the proper one for you. It everything depends on your facial shape, hair color – which is a big factor is defining which is trendy and which is not –, and confidence. An superb tip is to deliver a picture of the style you want to your hairdresser and ask him if it fits your otherwise which fits you.
